The 7th grade dance will be on October 18th, the Annual Sketchers Walk on the 20th, School picture retakes on the 21st, & minimum days from the 22nd to the 23rd. Skate night, ASB rally, RUHS Football Game, and the end of quarter one will be on the 25th, and quarter two starts on the 28th. The first spirit week will be from the 28th to the 31st. No school on 11/1. There will be parent confrences from the 5th to the 8th (minimum days), and Veterans Day (no school) on the 11th.

The East Coast was hit by a huge hurricane (Hurricane Helene, Category 4). It started on September 20th in North Carolina. Its death toll is at least 249 accross 6 different states with at least 1 million homes without electricity because of this storm. It is possible that these hurricanes could get worse because of climate change making the air warmer.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs Was put in jail for sex trafficking and kidnapping. He has offered up to 50 million USD for is bail, but the judge has declined, twice. He is expected to stay in prison for about 15 years to life.
Rancho Palos Verdes has been affected by many landslides because of the accumulating groundwater and heavy rains recently.

Mrs. Vanessa is the school nurse, she sees students who are ill or just want to talk. Mrs. Olga Schloss is a member of the front desk. She currently does attendance and has been working here for 4 years. Mrs. Stubbs is also a member of the front desk. She is an office assistant and she has been working here for 4 school years. Mr. Estrada is the principal (as of this month...foreshadowing...). He makes sure that all students are safe learning, and are in an enviroment where they feel like they belong. He has been principal for 2 years, but he was a 7th grade social science teacher here for a while 10 years ago. He likes how everyday is different, students bring an incredible amount of energy to our school, and working with the other amazing teachers and staff here at Adams. Mrs. Christina Juarez is an administrative assistant. She has been here for about 6½ years. Mrs. Lee is a counselor for students with last names L-Z. She likes that she gets to work with us. According to Regan Brown, 'That's very kind :).' Mrs. Olesiuk (aka Mrs. O) is a counselor for students with last names A-K.
